Refund policy

⚠️ Important Notice:
Due to the nature of medical and hygiene products, strict return conditions apply to protect patient safety and comply with health regulations.


Returns

Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving the item.
No returns will be accepted after this period.


Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Be in resale condition
  • Sealed products must remain unopened

You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items returned in a condition that is not suitable for resale will not be accepted.


Return Process

To request a return, you must contact DAATS via WhatsApp or email (info@daats.co.za) before sending any item back.

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Important:

  • Returns sent without approval will not be accepted
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by DAATS

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact DAATS immediately via WhatsApp, email, or phone if:

  • the item is defective
  • the item is damaged
  • you received the wrong item

We will assist you with a replacement or refund where applicable.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

❌ No returns will be accepted for hygiene-sensitive or medical consumables once opened or used.

Certain items may not be eligible for return. Please contact us to confirm before returning any product.

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened, used, or removed from their original packaging:

  • Adult diapers and incontinence products
  • Catheters and urology products
  • Gloves, wipes, and disposable consumables
  • Bathing and personal care items
  • Pressure care products (e.g. cushions, mattresses)
  • Any item that comes into direct contact with the body
  • Any sealed product that has been opened

Wheelchairs and mobility aids:
May only be returned if unused and in original condition. Used items will not be accepted.

We also do not accept returns for:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable liquids or gases
  • Custom products (special orders or personalised items)
  • Sale items or gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have.

Once your return is accepted, you may place a new order for the correct item.

Additional collection and handling fees may apply.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

All refunds are subject to inspection and approval by DAATS.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Important:

  • Refunds may take 5–10 working days to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error by DAATS
  • All orders are processed only after proof of payment (POP) has been received
  • Refunds will only be issued for confirmed and paid orders
